Severe Injuries: 95% Human Error

There are thousands of fatal accidents that happen in USA for a year. It is brought by three vehicular collision whether involving moving and non moving objects. Collision brought by motorcycles, cars and trucks usually give severe injuries.

50% of fatal accidents are brought by motorcycle accidents followed by automobile accidents with 44% and lastly truck accidents comprising 6% of the total fatal accidents. As you can see motorcycle accidents is the highest contributor for fatal collisions. This is because there is an easy access to motorcycles than any form of vehicles.

From 2004-2008 same statistics was shown. Truck accidents are the most devastating of all. Most truck accident fatalities result to death. Trucks carry loads of goods and being hit by such can give a much bigger impact to the victim. Some would blame it to their engines. That’s just a scapegoat because the truth is it is cause by negligence.

Most of us may think that these fatal accidents happen in the cities but the truth it happens more in the rural areas. A study from www-nrd.nhtsa.dot.gov prove that 57% of fatal accidents occurred in the rural areas while the remaining 47% happen in urban areas. These fatal accidents happen mostly in Saturdays. Also, August was considered to be the most dangerous month since most fatal accidents happen in that month.

Another fact is that there is an average of 13 people who get killed every day at around 5pm-7pm. Most casualties of accident at this time period are students and professionals with ages from 21-30. It is the time when they get out for school or work. Some accidents happen because of too much traffic in the higways.

Accidents whether in rural or urban areas are believed to be 95% humanly erroneous. Fatal accidents are brought by these causes:

30%- Over Speeding
18%(day)- alcohol related
54%(night)- alcohol related
66% who got killed didn’t wear seatbelt
82% are guilty of distracted driving

Nobody should blame their engines if they hit a another driver, a pedestrian, or a bicyclist.

Because of human error, the ones who mostly suffered from severe injuries are human. Among the victims of fatal accidents 77.6% suffered head injury, 44% for Chest Injury and 31.8% for abdominal injuries. These injuries lead to temporary and permanent disability, hemorrhage, mental disorder and death.

As you can see accidents are everywhere when injuries have already been suffered you simply hire for a brain injury lawyer if the brain has been damaged, you hire for a wrongful death attorney if the person died. No matter what you do you can’t live just as normal as you used to. You would forever think of it. Accidents are life turning points. There is no remedy for fatal accidents. There will always be scar of the accident. Thus, don’t look forward for remedy, always, prevention is better than cure.
